In the United States, a legal procedure known as a Service of Process, or simply Process Service, declares that all parties must be notified when they are facing legal action in a court of law or administrative court. Process Service is achieved through the delivery of a set or series of documents describing the legal action. Affidavits, Summonses, Complaints/Petitions, Subpoenas, Writs, and various other court documents are all examples of documents that can be served. These documents are delivered to the person for whom the legal action is directed by a Process Server. Service of Process must be served by a person who is not a party to the case.

To validate proper service, we will prepare the Affidavit of Service (Proof of Service) and, for counties within the OKC Metro (Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, and Oklahoma County), file it directly with the appropriate court on your behalf. You will receive a digital copy via email for your records. Filing the Affidavit of Service for these counties is included in our standard service. For counties outside the OKC Metro, filing may incur an additional fee, which will be discussed with you in advance.
