If the serve involves a witness subpoena, we offer the option to issue a witness fee check simultaneously with the subpoena. Our Sitting and Waiting service is a vital tactic when locating individuals for service. Process servers patiently position themselves at the target's residence or workplace, ensuring timely service upon their arrival. This method demands acute attention and patience, with servers swiftly executing service upon confirmation of the recipient's identity. While our standard service includes a 10-minute grace period after arriving at the service address, you may opt for longer wait times to increase success rates. However, success in Sitting and Waiting relies on dedication and vigilance, as servers patiently await the right moment to fulfill their duty.

Please Note: To ensure efficiency and avoid unnecessary costs, we have a default limit of four (4) hours for waiting time across all attempts. I authorize your Process Server to wait as long as deemed necessary, beyond the initial 4-hour limit, at the cost of $50 per hour. I understand that your Process Server will use their discretion to determine when further waiting may no longer be effective, at which point other service options may need to be considered, such as attempting service at a different address or using an alternative method of service. Any additional waiting time beyond the 4-hour limit will be billed after the service is completed.

Refund/Credit Policy for Unused Wait Time:

If you have paid for additional waiting time in advance and our process server completes the service before the entire authorized duration, you will be eligible for a refund or credit (your choice) based on any full, unused hours. Wait time is billed in one-hour increments, so time is rounded up to the nearest hour, which means you won’t receive refunds for partial hours. Here are a couple of examples to illustrate:

Example 1: If you paid for 2 hours of wait time, and the service is completed within the first 30 minutes, you would be eligible for a refund of 1 hour, since the 30 minutes is rounded up to 1 hour.

Example 2: If you paid for 3 hours and service is completed within the first 1.5 hours, you would receive a refund or credit for 1 hour, as the first 1.5 hours would round up to 2 hours.

Wait Time Documentation:

For your assurance, all attempts will be documented with detailed logs and GPS tracking. This provides proof of the process server’s location and the time spent waiting at the service address. You will receive these records as part of our standard service report, ensuring complete transparency.
